HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PETER O’TOOLE!
The legendary, recently retired actor turns 80 today. O’Toole had one of the greatest career beginnings in history, landing the starring role in the magnificent Lawrence of Arabia, for which he earned a Oscar nomination. Since then, he’s received 7 more nominations, but no wins. He was, however, given an Honorary Oscar in 2003, for his contributions to film history.
